The Stone House Inn & Spa, an Allentown, Pennsylvania area day spa, is a tiny gem of comfort and serenity. We provide a full menu of relaxing, effective and sanity-enhancing salon and spa services in a casually elegant environment.

Stone House Spa and Salon hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

 Special Notes:

Bed and Breakfast Guests - If you are booking a stay specifically to indulge in spa services, please email or call to check on availability before making your lodging reservations as the spa can possibly be booked weeks in advance.

Minors Receiving Services - Our regular salon and spa services are available for young adults age 17 and under. Those minors who receive closed door spa treatments must have a parent or legal guardian in the room for the duration of the service. Also, children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout their entire visit.

Information on Larger Party Spa Bookings

Two People Booking Services Together - Credit card information is required when two people are booking any type of services together. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for multiple spa service appointments. If you wouldn't give the appropriate notice of cancellation or you change any of your services with less than 48-hours notice, your card will be charged for the services that you have scheduled unless we can re-book your time with someone else. Rescheduling to another date is also considered a cancellation if the appropriate 48-hours notice is not given. If you are paying with a gift certificate and appropriate notice of cancellation is not given, you will forfeit your certificate.

Three or More People Booking Services Together - Our policy is to take a deposit for 1/2 of the total services booked at the time the appointments are made, with the balance due one week before the scheduled event. We have a one-week cancellation policy for group bookings of three or more people, which means that if you need to cancel or change any of the scheduled appointments for your group it would need to be done 7 days prior to your event date. You would be responsible to pay for any cancellations or changes made less than 7 days prior to your event date if we cannot rebook the service times with someone else. You will be called one week before the event date to check for any changes to the scheduled appointments, and then the balance due will be taken. If any gift certificates are being used for any of the appointments and appropriate notice of cancellation is not given, the certificates would be forfeited. Cancellation of a large party booking when cancelled more than one week prior to the scheduled event is also subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

Gift Certificates

Offer the extraordinary gift of restorative relaxation. A gift certificate is a great way to express appreciation or affection, while still allowing a level of comfort and customization for the recipient. The certificate can be used for any of the services we offer and/or for purchase of hair and skin care products. Have one of our staff help you create a custom package or choose one of our spa package suggestions! Each gift certificate purchase comes in a lovely gift bag with a custom Stone House treat, tissue paper and a bow so that you don't have to fuss.

Make your stay at our Pennsylvania bed and breakfast extra special with the addition of one of our custom spa packages, a perfect way to celebrate your honeymoon, anniversary or other special occasion.

"Spend the Day" Aromatherapy Package

A scented body polish is followed by an aromatherapy massage, all done with complimenting 100% pure essential oils. You are then taken to our nail annex and treated to an aromatherapy manicure and aromatherapy pedicure. Your hair will receive a deep conditioning treatment, health cut and styling. A complimentary light lunch is served and a lovely take-home gift included.

Gentle Rejuvenation Package

The luxurious hydrating rose wrap begins the relaxation process to help you enjoy the treatments to follow. A gentle and rhythmic Swedish massage takes you further into a state of well-being. An aromatherapy facial completes the experience of pure bliss. A take-home gift is included.

Stones and More Stones Package

Our signature "Stone House Stone Facial" is done in conjunction with our other signature service - the "Stone House Stone Massage". Your hair is deep conditioned and styled. Signature pampering! A take-home gift is included.

Includes an express facial and massage combination, a classic pedicure and a shampoo and styling. A great trio for unwinding.

Classic Package

A classic European facial, which is our Custom Blended Essential Facial, is followed by a classic manicure and a classic pedicure. A lovely treat that's sure to please.

When to Arrive ~ Please be on time! In fact, please be fifteen minutes early. We want you to get the most out of your time with us, and we will be able to provide you with the best service if we're not rushing to complete your service in time for the next client. If you are running late for an appointment, the allotted time for the service will be shortened accordingly with no fee adjustment. So please, do come early (and often!).

What to Bring ~ Just a happy face! Robes, gowns, disposable undergarments and slippers will be provided for services that require them. You will be asked to remove all jewelry. Your personal items will be kept in the treatment room with you. Complimentary refreshments are available.

What to Leave Behind ~ Cell phones, children and all other worldly worries and woes. Part of the enjoyment of coming here is that you are creating a space for yourself, whether it is to take care of your skin, your hair or just to get rid of troublesome aches and pains. Other clients are also using our facility for these purposes and for the greater enjoyment of all, we respectfully request you leave all potential sources of intrusion or noise at home. Cell phones and pagers are not permitted to be used in the building. Children and infants cannot accompany parents or guardians who are receiving any services. We recommend you do not bring jewelry or valuables because we cannot be responsible for misplaced property. Alcohol is not recommended before or after a treatment.

What is Comfortable ~ If at any time during your services you are not completely comfortable, whether it be the pressure of the massage, the draping during your treatment, the volume of the music, the temperature of the room or lighting, simply let one of our staff know. This is your time and we are here to make sure your experience is everything it should be. For body treatments, disposable undergarments are provided. If you feel more comfortable in a bathing suit, please bring one - please be advised that some of the natural ingredients in our treatments may stain clothing.

What We Need to Know ~ As a guideline for our technicians, you may be asked to fill out a client profile. Please let us know if you have any significant health issues such as if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or a heart condition, muscle or joint injuries, allergies or skin sensitivities, using any medications, or have had any recent surgery. Some conditions may affect our ability to perform your requested treatment or service.

Reserving Appointments ~ A gift certificate number or credit card will be required to secure all spa service appointments. Friends booking appointments together in the salon or spa must secure appointments with a credit card and are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy. Larger bookings may require payment in advance with a longer cancellation policy and may incur cancellation fees.

Cancellation Policies ~ We have cancellation policies - but for good reason! We aim to bring you a high level of service provided by a quality staff in a nice environment. Unfortunately this is not cheap and good people are hard to find. When you reserve a time with us, we not only guarantee your appointment and service length, we are also turning away others who might want your spot. So, if you cancel or reschedule without proper notice we would still like to compensate our staff for their time. Rescheduling without proper notice is considered a cancellation!

A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of any regular salon services (classic manicures, classic pedicures, waxing, hair color, perms and hair cuts) to avoid a full charge. We will send you a bill.

A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of any single spa service. Without proper notice of cancellation for a single spa service we will charge your credit card or you will forfeit your gift certificate if applicable.

A 48-hour notice is required for the cancellation or rescheduling of any Saturday, holiday or multiple spa service bookings to avoid a full charge. The spa services would be charged to your credit card or you would forfeit your gift certificate if applicable.

All no-show appointments will incur a full charge.

Payment and Refunds ~ We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, debit cards and personal checks. $25.00 will be charged for any returned checks. All refunds are for salon/spa credit only. Unfortunately, gratuities cannot be made using credit or debit cards.

Gratuities ~ Tipping is based upon your discretion. If you wish to leave a gratuity we will share with you, in case you have wondered, what the industry standard is for tipping in a salon. It is customary to tip 15-20%. Also, if you decide to leave a gratuity you only need to tip your main service provider, a portion of the tip will be distributed to any assistants. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but we do not give cash back on credit or debit cards. This means that we will not allow tips to be added on to credit card slips when paying by a charge or debit card. All gratuities must be in cash or check form paid directly to your service technician.
